Before you leave the pharmacy

  1. What is it and what is it for?

The medicine's name and the reason you are taking it.

  2. How and when do I take it?

How often, with or without food, and for how long.

  3. What should I avoid?

Other medicines, supplements, foods or activities that don't mix with it.

  4. What side effects might I notice?

Which ones are common, and which mean you should contact a clinician.

  5. What if I miss a dose?

Ask now, so you know what to do later.

  6. How do I store it?

Temperature, light, and whether it needs the fridge.

Bring your list

Show your medicine list so the pharmacist can check for interactions. Mention allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and kidney or liver problems.

Antopeloni never gives doses or advice for an individual — your pharmacist and doctor are the right people for that.
