Everyday supports

  • Regular sleep, meals and physical activity.
  • Time with people you trust, and asking for help when things are hard.
  • Breaks from news and screens, and time outdoors.
  • Activities that give you a sense of calm or achievement.

When to talk to someone

Consider speaking to a health professional if, for more than a couple of weeks, you notice:

  • Low mood, loss of interest, or constant worry.
  • Big changes in sleep, appetite or energy.
  • Difficulty coping with daily life, work or study.

Where to find help in Iran

  • 1480 — free counselling by phone.
  • 115 — emergency medical services, if you or someone else is in immediate danger.

Asking for help is a strength, not a weakness.
